As most of you will know, at the end of this year
Geoff Long will be retiring as a chiropractor.
Geoff has worked as a chiropractor for 30 years, 28 of which have been spent at Worcester Chiropractic Clinic. We have been tremendously fortunate to have him.
Those who know him will know that he is a walking encyclopaedia, with sharp wit and the driest of humours. He is an incredibly capable chiropractor and will be greatly missed.

In his time as a chiropractor, Geoff has treated in excess of 20,000 patients, from new-borns to centenarians.
He has completed nearly every training course available, qualifying him in nutrition,
acupuncture, rehabilitation and more.
For the last 8 years, Geoff has also acted as a mentor to younger chiropractors, sharing his immense knowledge and experience.
The contribution Geoff has made to the chiropractic profession cannot be overstated. Certainly,
our other chiropractors have benefited enormously from his acumen and experience.
Since joining in 1993, Geoff has been a cornerstone of Worcester Chiropractic Clinic. However, chiropractic is a physical job. And with his history of elite powerlifting, Geoff’s joints are letting him know that fishing is a better way to spend his time.

I have worked with Geoff since purchasing Worcester Chiropractic Clinic in 2013.
It was immediately clear that Geoff was a remarkable man. Even in the briefest of conversations, you become immediately aware of how bright Geoff is – not because he is showing off his knowledge, but because it just spills out of him continuously.
But what makes Geoff such a good chiropractor is the conscientiousness with which his expertise is teamed. He will always do everything in his power to help people.
He is honestly one of the best chiropractors I have ever worked with.
There have been times over the last 8 years where I have leant heavily on Geoff. When we have been short-staffed or demand has risen suddenly, Geoff has always taken up slack on our behalf, working through lunch, staying late, arriving early. All without hesitation.
I am privileged enough to be able to say that Geoff and I have become good friends over the years, and there have been many times where we have stayed behind after works putting the world to rights.
I will greatly miss Geoff’s presence in clinic.
